The Mike Lloyd Contribution Award

We're privileged to have presented the first-ever Mike Lloyd Contribution Award named in honour of a man who's influence and impact on the the local music scene will live on for generations.

With the blessings of the LLoyd family, this special award was presented by Nicky Temlow from the YMCA who was a good friend of Mike Lloyd. After a touching and heartfelt introduction, we're thrilled to see the winner was local legend, Annie Bellyou.

For over 14 years, Annie has championed music of all styles and genres and the award goes, in someway, to thank her for her years of dedication to the community. For almost every Tuesday over the last 14 years, Annie has organised and delivered the fabulous Choosedays at The Glebe in Stoke, which has platformed just about every musician you can think of from the local area.
